Conduct fast surveys in your home or workplace and reduce your exposure to EMF’s.

Made in the USA, this meter measures electromagnetic fields (EMF’s) and features an easy to read display with 3 separate scales. The TriField 100XE is designed to help you identify your personal exposure to non-ionizing electromagnetism, which is believed to pose possible health risks. By simply removing your furniture away from “hot spots” you can reduce your relative exposure to EMF’s.

The top scale measures high magnetic field sources (0 to 100 milligauss) or electric field (multiply by 10 to get volts/meter). Magnetic field sources can include AC wall adapters, home appliances such as vacuum cleaners, TV screens, clock radios etc. Electric field sources can include most computer monitors, fluorescent lighting, electric blankets etc.

The center scale measures magnetic fields (0 to 3 milligauss) and can produce more accurate readings. Electric and magnetic settings are frequency weighted and calibrated to 50Hz.

The bottom scale measures radio/microwave (mW/cm² to the front of the meter). Sources can include mobile phones and microwave ovens.

1 x 9V battery and instructions included.
