By using a non contact thermometer with laser alignment like the Raytemp 3 you will be able to take temperatures at a distance. The addition of the infrared laser is designed to assist you in pin-pointing the exact area that you want to measure, before pulling the trigger.
The Raytemp Thermometers are ideal for taking temperature measurements of food and are considered as an essential HACCP measuring instrument. Compared with food probes, you do not need to make direct contact with food to take temperature, therefore eliminating the risk of cross contamination completely.
RayTemp3 measures temperature over the range of -60 to +500°C with an assured accuracy of ±2%/±2°C of reading in an ambient temperature of between +15°C and +25°C, with a repeatability of ±1°C of reading. Readings are clearly displayed on the LCD screen including the maximum temperature.
Each RayTemp 3 Thermometer features a single push button, allowing the user to select °C or °F. The unit incorporates 12:1 optic ratio (target distance/diameter ratio) and a fixed emissivity of 0.97.
