If you require a hygrometer for on the spot humidity and temperature measurements but also has data logging capabilities, then the Protimeter Hygromaster can meet all your needs. The Hygromaster is a very versatile tool, ideally suited to professionals involved in HVAC, building surveying, home inspections, flooring installation, dampness diagnosis etc.
You can use the Protimeter Hygromaster for taking spot measurements, logging humidity temperature values, relative humidity, dew point, mixing ratio and ambient temperature. All readings are displayed on a split screen at the touch of a button. Surface temperature measurements can also be taken with an optional sensor, making this instrument especially suitable for condensation risk assessment and diagnosis.
A detactable humidity probe (Hygrostick) is also supplied with this meter to allow you to measure relative humidity and ambient temperature. The Hygrostick is optimised for measuring humidity in the 30 -100 % RH range and may be used with Protimeter humidity sleeves for measuring solid walls and floors.
When you use this as a data logger to monitor humidity and temperature trends, all you need to do is set up record measurements and leave the meter in place for the required period of time. You can then download the data direct to your PC for further analysis, using optional software. You are able to select your own parameters for measurement including logging interval, delayed start logging, number of logs and job number.
