The radios have 8 channels and 38 interference eliminator codes. If you want to use these as part of a group, you can set all the radios to the same channel and code.
These radios are water resistant and even have a room monitor feature, where the radio can detect voices/noises (according to the sensitivity level set) and transmit back to the listening radio.
