This is a popular adaptation of the K2 (KII) EMF meter and gives you a useful audible indication when a signal is detected.
An EMF meter is considered to be one of the most essential items of equipment for ghost hunters and we believe that the K2 meter is an absolute must-have.
There are many theories as to the connection between electromagnetic fields and the paranormal but the most widely accepted theory is that the presence of ghosts causes an unexpected and often sudden change or fluctuation of EMF.
What makes the K2 Meter different?
Manufactured in the USA, the K2 meter is easy to use and measurement readings are indicated by a row of LED lights and an audible cricket sound. As with many EMF meters, the K2 uses the mG (milliGauss) unit for the measurement of EMF’s and ranges from 0 to 20+ milliGauss and has a frequency of 50/60 Hz.
The meter features 5 LED lights, which each represent a particular field strength range.
Dark Green (Normal): 0-1.5 milliGauss
Light Green (Low): 1.5 to 2.5 milliGauss
Yellow (Caution): 2.5 to 10 milliGauss
Orange (High): 10 to 20 millGauss
Red (Warning): 20+ milliGauss
This model has a push on/off switch, meaning that you do not need to hold the button during use. Moving the device from side to side may change the reading but the highest reading is the most accurate.
Supplied with 9v battery fitted.
N.B: The sound function remains on during use and cannot be over-ridden. If you do not require sound, we recommend the K2 (II) Deluxe EMF Meter without the cricket sound.
