The E-Pod is designed to detect static electricity. Static electricity is the build up of electrical charges on the surface of an object or material and can consist of extremely high voltage. The E-Pod can detect high-voltage electrically charged objects at a great distance (500mV to 700+V).

A perfect addition to any Paranormal Investigation, the E-Pod can add an extra dimension to the evidence collected. Team members often comment on feeling the hair standing up on their arms or the back of their neck and this product aims to detect the invisible E-Fields that can be a cause this sensation.

The optimum conditions for the E-Pod to detect static, is within a dry environment. In humid conditions, water molecules can collect on the surface of various materials and can prevent the build up of electrical charges and minimize the detection range. Depending on the humidity and other factors, the E-Pod can easily detect an E-Field charge up to 2-8 feet away.

How to Use the E-Pod:

Switch on the E-Pod and place the unit on a flat surface (a table or a desk). The Green, Blue or Red light may or may not be illuminated at this time, it depends on the + or - static charge around the E-Pod.

Negative charged condition: The light will remain ON. The light will begin to dim as a charged object approaches the E-Pod. The light will eventually switch off when the charge is within a few inches of the E-Pod. The light will slowly come back on again when the charged object moves away from the E-Pod.

Positive charged condition: The light will remain OFF. As the charged object gets close to the E-Pod, the light will come on. The light will turn OFF when the charged object is removed.
